In 2017 we are continuing our 6 weeks Introduction to Yoga courses. The idea is to provide a basic introduction to yoga for new students, or those who would like to deepen their knowledge and refine their practice.
The course is Hatha Yoga based and focused in history and philosophy of yoga, breathing, meditation and alignment – ensuring that you have the confidence to step into any yoga class upon completion.
Week 1: Introduction to Yoga, Pranayama (breathing) and Bandhas
Week 2: Standing postures, Forward bends and twists
Week 3: Meditation, mindfulness and Balance
Week 4: Hip and heart openers
Week 5: Introduction to arm – balances and inversions
Week 6: Introduction to Vinyasa – basic sequence with all together, slow pace and flowing.
